Scholarships and Sponsorships

Embrace firmly believes that without education the future prospects are indeed grim. Without a balanced education and development support, children could easily end up back on the street when they leave home as adults. We have a real responsibility to play a key role in creating sustainable options for them as adults. Education through to advanced levels is their best ticket to a vibrant future as contributing adults to their community. For those who have the capability, we can think of nothing better than helping them be all they can be. To possibly one day even impact the lives of future orphans based on their life experience and chance to make a difference. Embrace seeks international sponsorship specifically focused on meeting the advanced educational requirements of selected children. We establish selection criteria that look at a child's capability and chances of them successfully completing an advanced study program.

Scholarship program assistance is offered at all levels of schooling (primary, secondary and tertiary) and also can be used to help a child overcome a significant learning difficulty or refine a strength that will improve their chances of employment. Scholarship fund monies are used to support successful applicants through their programs. Sponsors who donate to the scholarship program receive updates on how the fund has been used and the impact it has made.

Where silence once dominated the ambience of a room (due largely to babies learning that crying does not result in attention), laughter and noise now dominates. Toddlers once shy to approach visitors now reach out their arms for a hug. These children now have the start in life they not only deserve, but desperately need.
