A: Embrace International is a registered charity based in Hong Kong. We provide support for orphaned, abandoned, and destitute children, seeking to empower them to integrate back into their communities as self sufficient adults. We seek partnerships with local organisations to provide sustainable solutions for vulnerable and marginalised persons.
A: Embrace works with local partners to empower individual children that have been orphaned or abandoned. Embrace provides academic scholarships/sponsorships for both promising and struggling students so that they can receive additional tuition or remedial assistance and tutoring.
Embrace provides funding to employ additional nannies so that infants in Welfare Institutions can receive better care and nurture, instead of having one carer responsible for 20 babies at once. When local communities or families are unable to care for a child, Embrace steps in to match them with a loving foster and allow them to thrive again. Through empowered communities and strengthened families, the lives of children can be secured, enabling them to face the future positively and with optimism. Embrace also assists entire communities (ethnic minority villages) by increasing their capacity in microfinance, agriculture, and sustainable business enterprises.

You can donate your time or technical expertise (depending on our currents needs and projects at the time) and you can certainly be an ambassador and share with others the plight of China's neglected children. A: At least 90% of all donations to Embrace are directly allocated to projects (this allocation is one of the highest percentages in the humanitarian industry). To operate projects requires overheads and project management support services (such as staffing, monitoring, reporting and financial services) - without these necessary expenses, the project simply could not happen.
